Rainy Day

It’s been raining here quite a bit lately, so I’m resorting to all kinds of arts and crafts to entertain the boys.  Today was painting… watercolors.  The boys LOVE painting!  It’s one of their absolute favorite forms of art.  They painted while I read science to them and we discussed what we read.  For those who don’t know, I homeschool them… and the joy of that is we get to do things our own way… Silas is wearing his bones jammie shirt with his carhartt pants, we paint and do science at the same time, and we don’t have to brush our teeth until noon if we don’t want to.  We’re learning about birds right now and we’re having a blast discovering how God created such absolutely fascinating creatures!  And as we were reading I looked at my boys and thought, “I just love them so much!”  So of course I had to grab my camera!!!  I wanted to capture a glimpse of this day and share it with you.  These boys are my heart… enjoy!
