Yates Family Announcement!!!

One of the things I love most about being a family photographer is being invited into the blessings and exciting milestones of a family’s life.  And this is one of the most exciting…  when a family is adding another little one, and when I get to take part in announcing the beautiful news!!!

Meet the Yates family.  They. Are. Beautiful.  Enough said.  Lacey has the most stunning smile and her little boy has the same exact smile on his impish little face.  Everything about them is lovely – their relaxed style, their love of baseball, their easygoing attitudes as they chase little Fen around.  This was one of the easiest shoots I’ve had in a while and I’m not exactly sure why… they just were so ‘ready’ and naturally lovely and the sky was overcast, so there was no tricky lighting, and we just played and ran around and had fun.  Every time I turned around they were doing something that was simply naturally ‘a photographic moment.’  I had to work a bit for Fen because he’s a little pistol, but the ones you work the hardest for are the ones that are the greatest treasure.  And I know Lacey treasures every one of these of her precious boy.
