Dancing, Light, Laughter, Friends… and costumes

When your client contacts you and says, “Hey, so I’m wondering if you would be interested in doing dance photos of my daughter and some of her friends… in their costumes?”  … you don’t hesitate.  “Um… Yes!!!”

So that’s how this amazing photo shoot came to be.  We got together in Downtown Senoia, GA after my GPS sent me to some other small town first (which I’m gonna remember because it looked really cool).  Anyway, once we were all there, sweating, in makeup and costume, it was time to have a blast!!!

The original plan was to just get a few photos of the girls individually and then a group photo, but of course when I have this kind of situation I can’t stop with that.  I mean, how often do you have something this insanely adorable in front of your camera?  And the personalities!!!  Oh, don’t get me started.  We had feathers flying, hips swaying, whispers and giggles and dancing in the street.

So, on this 4th of July, I hope that these photos make you smile and laugh and enjoy this moment.  And I hope they help you remember what a wonderful thing it is to live in America where we can travel to small town USA, dance in the streets, and enjoy just being.  I hope they make you look to the Lord with gratitude overflowing the bounds of your heart that the He has been so kind, and that you won’t waste such a privilege, but will use it to do much good for His name.
