The Carson Family… and baby makes four!!!

I LOVE this family!  Like really and truly love them to pieces.  I’ve known Lindsey since high school and we were in pretty much all the same classes.  I remember hanging out together during “yearbook” class… which basically meant we “needed” to have photos developed (back when you took your film to a local place and had it done… yeah, we always volunteered for this) and we’d head over to the ghetto mall near our school and get coffee and go to her house and get her work clothes and hang out until it was time to get back to school before class was over.  That’s when my “fancy” coffee addiction began.  Before that, it was Folger’s, but Lindsey opened my eyes to the wonderful world of “fancy” coffees out there, and I’ve never looked back.

Lindsey’s still an incredible friend.  She helps me with business advice all the time.  She’s never said she’d like to do this or that she’s qualified in any way… but since I think she’s brilliant and awesome in every way I don’t ask.  I just send her stuff and tell her I need her opinion.  🙂  And last Fall when I was running a 1/2 marathon in her area, she packed up her family and CAMPED at the park where I was running so she could see me after and fix lunch for me and my husband and my two hooligans!  I mean… who does that?!  Did I mention that her husband’s pretty awesome, too?  And that her girls are absolutely fantastic and funny and silly and wild and wonderful?

So, when Lindsey said she’d like for me to photograph her GORGEOUS family, I was ECSTATIC!!!  And she’s got a little (okay, big) bun in the oven and I absolutely CANNOT wait to meet this new little member of the family who I know will be just as wonderful and as much of a blessing as the rest of them!  I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.  These girls were so free and happy and fantastic about everything… oh, and did I mention we did this in the rain?  Because that’s how we roll… and keep scrolling down for the Awkward Family Photo at the end.  Yeah, they pretty much made my day with that one!
