Baby Hannah

There are few experiences quite as beautiful and peaceful and joyful as photographing family, my own family.  Even when it’s hectic, a baby’s crying, a child is having nothing of it, it’s blazing hot or freezing cold outside… it doesn’t really matter.  Because to me, when I photograph family, I’m not just recording THEIR memories, but MINE as well.  And I treasure those moments!

These are memories for Hannah, my littlest and newest cousin.  ::BE STILL MY HEART::  She was a few weeks old here, and she was absolutely perfect.  Her eyes remind me of her big sister’s (one of my favorite kiddos EVER to photograph!), her skin is incredibly beautiful, and she’s petite and lovely in every way.  I love the photos of Hannah sleeping in her crib, being nestled in her mama’s arms, being loved on by her sister.  I love the realness to it all, the honest-life-picture.  I love that Hannah was bright eyed and bushy tailed until she spit up all over everything and we laughed, and then she passed out for a lovely deep sleep and let me just play.  🙂  I love that there was no pressure, that I could take my time, breathe, and enjoy every moment.  This was my first time meeting Hannah, and I’m so happy we got to make some memories together for her family to enjoy for a lifetime.
