Baby Jennings

One of my favorite things and one of the greatest privileges I enjoy as a photographer is being asked to document the life stages of my clients – seeing them grow in love for one another over time, watching their families increase, seeing the kids get so big, watching first steps, being included in the most special and private moments so that I can capture something indefinable for that family to cherish for a lifetime…  This is an honor and a joy for me.

Kristin and Jonathan have invited me to capture the stepping stones of their precious family and I’ve loved every minute!  Recently I posted photos from their maternity session – it was magical!  (click here to see and to read why Kristin is so very dear to me)  The sunlight was warm and gooey and perfect, Kristin was really and truly glowing (and oh-my-word, she’s gorgeous!), Jonathan was filled with love and pride for his growing family!  And then, once sweet little Jennings was born, I was invited to come to their home and love on their little 5 days young treasure and photograph his wrinkles and hair and big blue eyes and sweet little lips and fingers and wrinkly toes.  Kristin was tired like a new mom should be, but excited (with her own props she bought months in advance, she was looking forward to this day so much!) and happy and still glowing and absolutely beautiful!  Jonathan was a champ at the diaper changing already and the feeding and just as excited and glowing in that new-daddy-pride way!  And Jennings… oh my goodness, there are no words for his cuteness!

Here’s a little of what I captured that day of their sweet boy.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I have.  Little Jennings, you are SOOOO very much loved!  I can’t wait to see you grow more and more into the little boy and young man God has planned for you to be!  Kristin, you’re a rockstar mom – he is so very blessed to have you!  This family is so near and dear to my heart!
