Melissa’s Senior Portraits

Melissa is one of those amazing girls who is stunningly beautiful – inside and out.  And she’s not even aware of it, which is what makes her even more captivating.  She’s headed to college soon, and I can’t help but be excited with her about what the Lord has in store for her in the years ahead.

Melissa has classical features, and every time I see her profile I keep thinking she would make a gorgeous painting.  Her eyes are bright and a beautiful deep blue, and her smile is full and unaffected.  I photograph a lot of kids who are running around and I’m desperately chasing them, begging for a smile, and praying for magic…, and it’s so fun for me to get to spend some time with someone who can follow directions and hold still, who doesn’t mind me trying new things and playing and having fun with my camera, and who is willing to do just about anything I ask and puts total trust in me.  And that was Melissa.

I hope you enjoy her brilliant smile.  I hope her laugh makes you laugh.  And I hope her eyes draw you in like they do me.  And then I hope you can see, in her sweet photos, that her heart is even more beautiful.
