Mr. + Mrs. Smith

I haven’t blogged in a while.  I’ve taken an extended break through the Christmas holidays, and I still have sessions I need to blog from BEFORE Christmas….  ::sigh::  I’ve been enjoying loving on my baby boys, and so I’m just now getting back into the groove of things.  But that’s what I love about being a photographer.  I get to spend as much time with my family as I want, and I get to spend as much time with my camera as I want… and then there are those moments when I whip out my camera WITH my family… and that’s for another post, another day.

But for now, I HAVE to share these photos of one of my absolute FAVORITE families!  And I have to confess, they’re my cousins… 2nd, 3rd, 18th, I’m not sure.  But we’re related.   And I love every single chance I get to take their pictures!  This was a cold day.  I mean, really cold.  And that seems a bit absurd to say since we recently had 7F weather here in GA, but for December it was really cold.  But they came out and met me and smiled and were such a joy!  And little Jackson… WHAT A TROOPER!!!  He has some of my favorite eyes – they’re a deep blue, fringed with killer lashes.  His lashes are so thick that I have to work really hard to get photos with that glimmer of light inside.  And then when I do… it’s stunning.  I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do.  They show the laughter and love and joy of a precious family, and I can’t wait for our next session together.
